3D Printed HIF Guide

Humeral Intracondylar Fissure (HIF) guides (with inserts) ensure optimal placement of transcondylar screws for the management of humeral intracondylar fissures. The guides are designed to aim progressively larger drill bits using interchangeable inserts. The cranial stilts improves guide stability without the need for increased soft tissue distraction.

If your case is suitable you will have the option to upgrade to the HIF Management Package.

HIF Management Package:

The recommended approach when using the HIRS system in practice, including within the HIF management package, assumes use of the HIRS System with the dedicated HIRS drill bit. It is advised to keep at least one HIRS implant of each size in stock at all times. The implant supplied as part of the HIF management package is intended to replace your stock (provided the planned size is used). This ensures that, if intra-operative depth gauge measurements indicate the need to size up or down, all implant sizes remains available during the procedure.

• Custom 3D-printed drilling guide (including duplicate practice guide) and patient-specific humerus model (from CT scan)
• 1 × HIRS implant (size selected for the specific case).
• 0.5 cc demineralised bone matrix (DBM nanopaste) for void preparation
